DCLARE & DECREE Community Arts Ministry was founded by Genevieve Carvil-Harris and Raynetta Irish out of The Living Word Baptist Church (d/b/a The Living Word Family Enrichment Center) in 2003. The ministry was born out of a desire to see individuals walk fully in their God-given purpose without compromise. We saw a need for a space where creatives could grow spiritually while refining their craft without having to choose between excellence and faith. The ministry has since impacted the lives of thousands of people since its inception.
We believe God is intentional about creativity.
We believe that ministers of art are carriers of His presence.
And we believe the arts can shift atmospheres, minds, communities and generations.

To cultivate a Christ-centered community of worshippers who boldly declare God’s Word and creatively decree His will through excellence in the arts and community outreach.
